Jesse Romero & Johnny Romero – “The Sons of Thunder”
 
  They are Catholic Lay Evangelist brothers who are born again through the sacrament of Baptism and strengthened by the Holy Spirit thru the sacrament of Confirmation. They have a genuine fire and desire in their hearts to carry out the “great commission” of the New Evangelization to evangelize the baptized. They are available, willing and able to “stir into flame the gift of God that you have.” (2 Timothy 1:6) within you by going to your parish mission / seminar / conference and teaching biblically-based Catholic Evangelization & Apologetics with a passion that is contagious.

This team of evangelical Catholic brothers has so moved the hearts of audiences that they have been called by “the Sons of Thunder” and the “dynamic duo” by those who have attended their Catholic bible-based presentations.  Jesse has a Masters degree in Catholic theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville. Johnny is a graduate from the Los Angeles archdiocese’s Bible Institute with a certification to teach Sacred Scripture.

The most compelling facts about these two brothers is that JESUS is the center of their lives, they are mama's boys who love Our Lady and they are faithful sons of the Pope. They are living proof that God can take ordinary “hoi-polloi, rank & file, Joe-six-pack-in-the-pew” Catholics and do extraordinary things with souls who allow themselves to be used as vessels of God.

Scripture can accurately describe these brothers and their apostolate in the following: “the people that know their God shall stand firm and take action.” (Daniel 11:32) –and– “His disciples remembered that it was written, 'Zeal for thy house will consume me'.” (John 2:17) –and– “in your hearts reverence Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to make a defense to anyone who calls you to account for the hope that is in you, yet do it with gentleness and reverence.” (1 Peter 3:15)

Jesse and Johnny’s contagious enthusiasm has inspired people who have seen them in person and heard their presentations to better understand and appreciate their Catholic faith.  Their motto: Love God, save souls, slay error!
